This subspecialty involves the diagnosis and management of diseases of the cornea, sclera, conjunctiva and eyelids, including corneal dystrophies, microbial infections, conjunctival and corneal tumors, inflammatory processes and anterior ocular manifestations of systemic diseases.
We perform the following procedures:

  • Femtosecond cataract surgery/phacoemulsification (sutureless)
  • Laser flap refractive surgery
  • Corneal transplant (full or penetrating)
  • Partial corneal transplants (DSAEK/DMEK , DALK)
  • All astigmatic procedures (IOL, laser, surgical)
  • Accommodative/Multifocal intraocular implants

Our surgeons have been fellowship trained at the foremost prestigious eye institutions including Wills Eye Hospital, New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Residency training has included Columbia University and New York University Medical Center.
