Suzanna Airiani, MD
Dr. Airiani completed an internship in surgery at the prestigious New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center, New York, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York. Dr. Airiani had a fellowship in cornea and external diseases at the Wills Eye Institute, Philadelphia.
Dr. Airiani specializes in general ocular diseases, cataract surgery, refractive laser surgery, as well as the medical and surgical management of corneal diseases. She has a special interest in traditional corneal transplant and endothelial keratoplasty.
Dr. Airiani is on the teaching staff at the Department of Ophthalmology, Columbia University Medical Center and New York University where she is involved in both the medical and surgical training of the ophthalmology residents. She holds board certification from the American Board of Ophthalmology, and an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Cornea Society and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
